It’s pride month, babes, and we are slipping this issue out just in time. We love this collection because it gathers together a cache of moments we understand as sacred. These moments range from one’s first glimpse of queer love in Emily Russo’s ‘Entre Femmes,’ to the link between nail polish and identity expression in Gerardo Lamadrid Castillo’s ‘Nail Polish & Co,’ and discovering one's gender in context, as does the narrator in Anthony Aguero’s poem “Gilbert," with a line we simply can’t get out of our heads: “What’s gender / Without you inside my body.” Read on, dear ones!
