Aria Pahari
is an MFA student in Poetry at the University of Arizona. My writing as of late has revolved around asexuality: how does it manifest in my life as a subjective, intuitive state of being? The adjectives in Post's mission statement truly resonate with my own project, for I seek an approach to asexuality that is "nuanced, multiplicitous, and indeterminate." Poetry serves as a prime space in which to immerse oneself in these fluid forms, and I have tried to make my own poems a place to cultivate an ace-specific angle on queerness. I hope you enjoy the poems, and thank you for the space you have created.
